Elf Tradition

The magic begins when your Boy or Girl Elf arrives with a jam-packed Activity Book, or colourful, captivating Storybook.  New this year is a Superhero Elf with a Newspaper front page and puzzles.

What is about to ensue is fun for the whole family, as you spend quality time together, learning and encouraging positive behaviour.

No Elf sitting on a shelf creepily 'watching' your child and telling on them, no pointless pieces of 'naughty' and 'nice' papers making your child anxious about something they have done and already said sorry for, just fun and excitement with encouragement and praise for things they do well.

An Elf Adventures Elf isn't just for Christmas, it aims to build your child's confidence in a positive way that lasts all through the year and there are two main ways to do this:

Your Elf Arrives for Adventures before Christmas

  • Your Elf arrives either on the 1st of December, or anytime before Christmas Day.
  • Have fun together picking a name for your Elf, filling in their Passport and receive a personalised Certificate when you Register Your Elf.  You can also Write to Santa and receive a personalised reply.
  • The next part is the BEST part, as your Elf starts their Adventures...
  • With Elf Adventures, your elf doesn't sit on a shelf watching your child, they are part of the Christmas excitement and your child can love, play with and take their elf on adventures with them.  You can pose your elf at night and watch as your child's excitement grows when they wake up to see their Elf in a different place or doing something fun.  There are lots of ideas and a Photo Gallery to upload your photos.
  • There are three different types of Christmas Elf Packs to choose from.  In the Christmas Elf Early Years Packs, the colourful Story Book, suitable from birth all the way to reading in Year 1/Primary 2, encourages sleeping well at night amongst the Christmas excitement.  In the Christmas Elf Activity Packs, an Activity Book is included with over 100 reusable stickers and puzzles and games, to bring the Elf and his adventures to life for your children.  The Superhero Elf Packs include a Newspaper front page with puzzles and focuses on being kind and helpful.  With more Fun and Games available to download, the only limit is your child's (and your!) imagination.
  • There are two double sided Reward Charts included, which can be used to encourage and praise good behaviour for Santa on the road to Christmas.  in additon, new educational learning resources are due to be launched in November, that will work alongside your child's stages in Early Years and School and this can be found in our comprehensive Guide for Parents.
  • On the 24th of December, there is a Report Card for you to fill in with your child about your elf's behaviour and it is the perfect oppertunity for your child to reflect and learn about different behaviours.  You can leave this for Santa with his cookies.

  • When you pack up your Christmas Decorations, Elfie could be packed away too, to arrive again next year for more adventures.  However, if your child is attached to their Elf, it is normal for the Elf to stay longer - we have a team of Elves on their holidays, posting pictures to the website and Facebook throughout the year, so the fun can continue for much longer.
